I have been in the beauty industry for 23 years as an owner, operator, freelance hairstylist and have been blessed to work alongside some of the industries best, behind the scenes of major publications, NYFW, Fox5, a regular with The Washington Post as a selected stylist, The Regional Training Director of a National Spa and the list goes on. So, when I choose to place my clients in a new environment, I expect nothing but professionalism. The owner or Citrine, Patricia, is so rude, unprofessional, and outright disrespectful. Do not expect a warm smile and a simple hello, do not expect a profiting salon where the stylist feed of the energy from ownership and work as a team to build the business and each other. Do not expect any interaction from an owner who is suppose to be a leader! The simple definition is someone who is supposed to serve others, selflessly! someone who anticipates the needs of others, someone who takes the initiative, someone who models character, someone who solves problems, someone who covers those they lead, and most of all someone who brings out the best in others. I worked at this establishment for 6 months, and brought my own clientele to this sub par empty salon... where I served my clients from 6am to late hours in the night, the only stylist with a clientele in which I travel to from Atlanta each month to service. The only booth renter who paid my rent on time every month. A stylist who others can see the good in and a stylist who is very well known and connected in the industry. There was never a happy median, Instead I'm faced each month with petty disregard for my clientele or myself because Patricia is too busy to look outside of herself and her rude demeanor, lack of communication and professionalism... no wonder why her salon has 9 stations and 2 part time stylist and a spa which barely serves clients. Beware, before working for someone who selfish and condescending! She treats her assistant and staff like they are beneath her and had the nerve and gull to tell me that my booth will be needed and I had to find somewhere else to work oh, did I mention, 2 days before!! I do live in another state, so I must have a huge loyal following if I fly in each month. Did she care, NO! Instead, her salon is for SALE but she didn't have the decency to give me some sort of notice so I can plan to transition my clientele. I asked her, did she think that it was professional to tell me such information 2 days before and she said "YES"... I was more sad for her than angry because right then I understood her lack of knowledge in running a business or interacting with others in a professional manner. I hope that she has the decency to tell the few people who could tolerate her and need a place of employment...that she is leaving. She at least owes them some notice so they can work where they will be appreciated, respected and needed. I'm hopeful that the proper research and due diligence is done before buying or interacting with someone who has no conscience. The majority of the things in the salon is dated anyway. Serve your clients in a space where good energy flows. A great business in always reflected in great management. If you keep your clients and staff happy, you will be in business for a lifetime; and will not have to undercut and undermine the people who are suppose to be on your team. I learned in life from an early age, treat others the way you want to be treated! You never know who you will need! Or, who will one day be the decision maker on your behalf. I'm sure that jealousy and envy is at the center of all this. BEWARE, she is a scam!!

I have been working at Citrine Salon & Spa since March 2017. I recently got back from a week vacation that the owner Patricia, approved of. I was gone from 5/23 until 5/28. Before I left for vacation, I worked the Monday before I left since the other receptionist decided he didn't want to work Mondays any longer. Mondays was MY ONLY DAY OFF. I came in the salon and did my work as I would on a normal work day. Patricia normally is off on Mondays as well but decided to stay in the salon and take pictures of the furniture in the salon. I was confused to why she was doing this. I spoke with a stylist that has worked at Citrine for some years and I was told by her that Patricia has been planning on selling her business for over a year now. FYI Patricia didn't let ANY of her employees know about her selling the business or how soon! I came back from vacation with no job and do you think she cared. No! Patricia is the rudest, self centered, disrespectful "boss" I have ever had. The lack of communication and Professionalism is disgusting. This is something I will make sure she doesn't get away with this. This was the craziest, most unprofessional experience I have been through. I worked hard, encountered a lot of difficult clients, and did extra things for Patricia that WERE'NT apart of my job description. For example shampooing ONLY her clients that did not even tip me but tipped her. Do you think Patricia was kind enough to maybe slip some of her tips? NO! Which makes me feel like she just used me because it benefited her. Patricia really isn't a nice person and the 3 months that I was working there, I experienced it first hand what she did to people and how she treated them. Don't go to Citrine at Blue Bell Salon & Spa if you know what's good for you!

Teresa is amazing!.. didn't have to tell her much about how I wanted my hair cut. The end result was just what I needed.

The owner Patricia is rude and really unprofessional to ger staff. I know of several stylists there who have quit because of her!!

I work here. Salon is nice. Going through a small renovation at the moment. But never dirty.
