My friend was impressed with this place after her first visit. She recommended it to us to use it as me and my wife are going abroad in a long assignment in a few months. A few days later, within the same week, my friends stuff got stolen in this place. They claimed that they have no control over things if they were not locked in the unit. My friend called the manager same day telling him that she could not access the unit and that she will come same day, the guy assured her that it is fine and she should not be worried about her stuff. By the time she was there, everything was gone (despite the confirmation she received earlier in the day from the guy that her stuff are safe). She made different inquires, the manager of the place was able to track and see where the items are, the cameras showed the maintenance guy with some other tenant or so, yet the manager was so irresponsible. He did not bother to take an action, he was manipulating, unable to talk firmly to who over took the stuff. They claimed that they gave them for donation!!! My friend had one full suitcase with new clothes- with tags!! What made it worse is the manager greediness, I could not believe that he made her pay for her furniture and stolen stuff through the last she kept them there!! Very unprofessional, very greedy and ZERO recommended. My wife is a lawyer, me and my wife are encouraging my friend to allow my wife to undertake this case and get my friend a compensation of what she has lost and the unprofessional treatment she received from the manager while renting in this awful place for a few weeks. Do not go there, unless you want to be stolen and pay for your stolen stuff!!!
Today I transacted the closing of a large storage unit and the opening of a new small one in its place. Josh at Bethesda SPS was very helpful in accomplishing this and ensured I got the most value to my dollar even though the switch to a smaller unit probably meant loss of revenue to them over time. The nice perks he offered me on the unit were generous and made it very affordable to me in the long run. The unit swap on the physical side was just as accommodating, as they found a unit just down the hall, minimizing the impact of the physical transfer itself. -All much appreciated!
I came to Security public storage with a friend who was looking for a unit. I am so impressed with the customer service and beautiful facility. Although I don't need storage I would use them in the future. The office staff was great and even gave us free water and candy! Another tenant stopped us on the tour in the elevator saying how much he loves storing here. My friend did rent and has been pleased so far.

Great experience! I just got my things out of my storage unit after renting for about a year, and they were always professional and accommodating. It has lots of perks, including moving supplies and even a nice sized truck, if you need it. The staff members are friendly and eager to help too. I recommend SPS to anyone! A+++++
