The experience was unfortunately disappointing. My husband and I were planning a family trip and were referred to this agency with the highest praise. Instead we were told “I cannot assist you” and “I will not be able to assist you with what you are looking for,” “You are not listening to me, I have been doing this for years and years and what you are saying does not make any sense.” This is not an experience that any person looking to book an unforgettable trip would want to remember. I recommend looking elsewhere. I was left offended and very upset and have since found several agencies who were more than willing to make our dreams a reality.
Cannot begin to thank Guido and the rest of the staff at Bethesda Travel for the Italy vacation of a lifetime. Down to our airline seating preference, no detail of the trip was overlooked. We simply gave Guido an idea of what we wanted to see & do and he did the rest. Only an experienced agent of the highest caliber could have handled our late in the planning process schedule changes.

We just got back from our private 2 week trip to Italy--to say the least it was Fantastic!! What Guido and his team planned for us was everything we had dreamed of...and some things we had not even imagined :) Not being world travellers it was extremely comforting knowing that if there was even a hiccup Guido was right there. Once in Italy, Guido called the Venetian restaurant where we were dining to make sure everything was going well. In Rome, the hotel clerk had a message for us from Guido, whom she had worked with for years. In Italy, everyone knows Guido.
A few weeks before departure a package arrived with everything from travel bags to luggage tags, detailed itinerary, maps, vouchers, and suggested restaurants at each city along the way. Guido then set up a meeting to go over every page to address any questions or concerns we may have had.
