The Bethesda Blues and Jazz Club is a wonderful venue for having an celebration. We recently had our daughter's Bat Mitzvah here and it was terrific. The management and staff were so helpful with all of the details. The setting was perfect for such a party and the food was delicious.
Concert was awesome! Layout of seating could have been better. Each successive row should be progressively elevated to make it easier to see stage, rather than the backs of previous road heads. Round tables with seating all around also makes it difficult for those facing away from table to see - especially when eating during the show.
Nice venue for a mature evening of entertainment. Recommend if there is a show that you really want to see get to keys early. Hard to see from dinner seats in the back. Acoustics are not bad. Food is average as well as drinks. Service is fair to bad. Parking is not a problem
Went for New Year's Eve. For $150 each hot show and overcooked, rubbery lobster and overcooked steak, carrots, mashed potatoes and dessert. Could have eaten GOOD food at Morton's for less. Show was entertaining. They added an automatic tip on the food, drink AND THE SHOW amount. We did not know this and when we left an additional $45, not a word. This place is a rip off. Shows are ok, but watch your wallet. We will not be back. The food is not worth the price even BEFORE they rip you off.
The variety of shows here is a welcomed change. The food offers little variety and the menu online will not be the menu on the night of your show. Parking is available in a nearby lot but you better have the app before going into the garage because phones don’t get good signals waaaay underground. That being said, just about every seat in the house is great. I have been three times now and will most likely return but I will definitely eat first.
