Love the teriyaki chicken and the side of string beans.
Experience and food is standard. Ordered a nigiri set and black cod. Although the black cod was cooked perfectly the dish wasn't very flavorful. Sushi was okay. Nigiri had a bit too much wasabi and rice. Service was attentive. Seems like a great place for happy hour to enjoy with friends.
Love the Sushi at this place. I don't normally like fusion Asian restaurants but Raku is the exception. We ordered carry out for my birthday and Sushi is just as fresh and delicious. And my boyfriend got my favorite bread pudding for me too. We reheated it in the oven and it was crispy outside and gooey in the inside. Yum! It came with a scope of vanilla ice cream and the sauces. Love it!
This neighborhood location, albeit sometimes noisy, has quickly become a family favorite because of the excellent fresh food and the wide, modern options. While we might have to wait to get a table the sushi bar is almost always open and is also a great atmosphere. Great and consistent service makes this restaurant a winner!
Raku is a wonderful Japanese restaurant that I love visiting. The Decour inside the area is marvelous including the giant chopsticks and paper umbrellas hanging from above. Not to mention the food is absolutely fabulous as well. My personal favorite used to be the Bento box which comes in a vegetarian form as well. It offers a variety of food items including a salad, sushi, and four other items, one of your choice. Personally I love it with the tempura. The miso soup appetizer is also divine. However, my favorite now would have to be the Tokyo-Dashi broth with wheat noodles and beef. The customizable options for many of their menu items is also worth mentioning as it allows the customers to cater to their own preferences. One of my friends is in love with the curry here and I can see why, the food at this restaurant couldn't get better. The location is also wonderful as there is much parking nearby as well as the library and a pottery place as well.
