Our overall experience at the American Inn of Bethesda was good. We stayed in a very small room which was not numbered. Their parking lot is small but if you find a spot it's really convenient. Breakfast is also included, so that's good. Generally a solid experience!
I stayed in the south wing #135. Very cozy room, even if it is up two flights of stairs and it has a thermostat/fan in the room you can control yourself! The parking is free but clearly if you can read before you book (which I did) it does state limited and there are two parking garages surrounding the hotel one behind and one in the front ? so I am not understanding all these complaints about parking. You can keep your car in the lot and take advantage of the free shuttle service with a mile radius they offer or uber. Great breakfast, Yummy cookies, wonderful front desk team and The sweet lady who cleaned my room returned my boots to me Gracias Rosa!. There's always a but. Gym is ok. I will definitely be coming back!
Not as clean as expected. Good location. Was not happy with the service.
This hotel is a much better value than the Hilton next door. Free parking ($20 at the Hilton) breakfast, free coffee, cookies come included. Nice rooms. And I always look forward to a friendly welcome from Nita at the front desk.
Great place to stay with great front desk service and all workers! Coffee is always ready!!! Majorly convenient to all and nice people all around. The kids loves the pool!
