Price was pretty good, but our bed was smaller than a double, and the room was a size to match. There isn't much of a sidewalk from the lodge to the road leading to the hospital.
Close to Walter Reed. Clean and spacious rooms. Inexpensive compared to hotels off base ($100 less per night assuming govt rate). If u need to stay at NSA Bethesda this is a good choice. If you want to stay in Bethesda this is fine too if you don't mind a 15 min walk to the metro! On weekdays, They have shuttles from the lodge to the hospital and from there to the metro.

This was a excellent location to the NIH and not to far from all the sight-seeing and venues that we wanted to see while in DC. I This was pretty inexpensive and i was impressed at how the military takes care of it's own. The room did include a small kitchenette which was quite useful.
